柜体是橱柜的骨架，最影响耐用。我们常用 block board（细木工板）做柜体：实木条拼芯加面板，握钉力强、长层板和门板不容易下垂，封好边、用对地方很耐用。板材等级、厚度不同，价格也不同。The carcass is the skeleton — it drives durability. We usually build with block board (lumber-core): solid timber strips between veneer faces. It holds screws well and resists sagging on long shelves and tall doors. Laminate, spray paint, timber veneer — each feels different, scratches differently and costs differently. L 型、U 型、加中岛，柜子越多、做到顶、转角和异形越多，料和工就越多。到顶虽然贵一点，但上方不积灰、收纳更满，长远很值。L-shape, U-shape, an island — more run, going floor-to-ceiling, corners and odd shapes all add material and labour.
